​LONDON, [8 JUNE, 2026] The Space Technology Conference – Central Eurasia (STC 2027), the region's premier annual gathering for the space, satellite and geospatial industries, will take place from 31 March to 2 April in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, bringing together government leaders, national space agencies, satellite operators, technology innovators, investors and industry stakeholders from across Central Eurasia and around the world.

Following previous successful editions in Tashkent, Baku and Ankara, STC 2027 continues the conference's distinctive regionally nomadic format, rotating annually between host nations to strengthen regional cooperation, encourage innovation and support the long-term development of Central Eurasia's rapidly expanding space ecosystem. The conference provides a vital platform connecting regional governments and institutions with the international space community, facilitating dialogue, investment, technology transfer and strategic partnerships.

“When we launched the Space Technology Conference in Tashkent in 2022, Uzbekistan was at the beginning of its modern space journey, having only recently established its national space agency, Uzcosmos. Just five years later, the country's progress has been remarkable, including plans for its first national satellite and astronaut programme, a growing space ecosystem, and the prestigious selection of Samarkand as the host city for the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2028. Today, the Kyrgyz Republic finds itself at a similarly pivotal moment. Through the restructuring of its digital governance framework under the Presidential Administration, the creation of dedicated institutions focused on space technologies and satellite applications and with a growing commitment to developing national capabilities in Earth observation and geospatial services, Kyrgyzstan is taking the first important steps towards building its own space sector.
