LONDON, [9 January, 2026] – This year, Uzbekistan will take centre stage in the global space industry as the Space Technology Conference – Central Eurasia (STC) marks its 5th anniversary by returning to the country that hosted the inaugural event in 2022.

STC was established as a dedicated international platform to support the development of Central Eurasia’s space ecosystem and to connect the region more closely with the global space community. Since inception, the event has become the annual meeting point for decision-makers in Central Eurasia’s space industry providing a unique platform for global commercial organisations to engage with regional governments, explore business opportunities, showcase innovations and forge long-term partnerships.

Hosted by Uzcosmos, Uzbekistan’s National Space Agency, and taking place at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in Tashkent, STC 2026 is expected to gather over 400 delegates from 150 organisations across 40 countries to discuss the evolution of Central Eurasia’s space ecosystem and explore opportunities for international collaboration.

Supported by national space administrations from Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkiye, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan, STC 2026 will highlight the latest innovations, trends, and challenges in the space sector. The conference provides an unmatched platform for knowledge exchange, networking and cross-border partnerships within the global space community.

The programme will feature keynote presentations, country space briefings, a technical programme, panel discussions, exhibition stands, one-to-one C-level G2B and B2B meetings and various networking events, including a gala dinner at the famous Khan Chapan restaurant.

STC 2026 is supported by a uniquely broad community of international space companies and satellite operators, underlining its role as Central Eurasia’s annual industry meeting point. Leading technology companies from across the world support the event through their sponsorship, exhibiting and participation. Their support highlights strong confidence in STC 2026 as a platform to connect, collaborate and do business across the region’s fast-growing space ecosystem.

"When we initiated STC in 2022, Uzcosmos was a newly established agency with a vision to develop Uzbekistan’s space sector. Four years on, we have made significant strides in building our capabilities, fostering innovation and expanding international collaboration. Hosting STC 2026 is the perfect opportunity to share our ambitious development plan to 2030 and demonstrate Uzbekistan’s growing role in the global space industry." - Shukhrat Kadirov, Director, Uzcosmos

“We are thrilled to celebrate the 5th anniversary of STC in Uzbekistan, returning to the country that hosted the inaugural conference. Since 2022, STC has grown consistently and has firmly established itself as the annual meeting place for Central Eurasia’s space community.” - Matthew Moss, Director, Dialogue Events
